Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a high school setting in Wakefield, RI, to provide short-term coverage from November 19th through December 23rd. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to deliver targeted speech and language services to students in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities will include managing a high school caseload, conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and staff to support student communication goals. The role requires consistent availability Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in adolescents
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a caseload
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
