They are seeking a driven Fluid Power Sales Engineer to be a critical part of their continued success.
THE ROLE: Sales Engineer (Fluid Power)
Are you a technical expert with a passion for sales and customer success? This unique role offers a blend of in-office technical support and field-based business development, providing exposure to a diverse range of challenges and opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In-Office Support (3 Weeks per Month):
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the current customer base, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Provide expert technical support and solutions related to fluid power products.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotes for customer requests and inquiries.
Field Business Development (1 Week per Month):
- Travel across the entire U.S. territory to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Visit and develop relationships with new potential customers and distributors.
- Bilingual Advantage: Candidates fluent in Spanish will have the exciting opportunity to expand their territory into Mexico.
WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is:
- Technically Proficient: Deep knowledge and experience in Fluid Power (hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.).
- Customer-Focused: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear customer solutions.
- Driven and Independent: Comfortable with travel and managing a large, diverse sales territory.
- Experienced: Proven track record in a sales engineering or technical support role.
