Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support K-12 students across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. This role, based in Jerome, ID, offers contracted employment starting ASAP through the end of the school year, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12, including early childhood through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student mental health and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to recommend appropriate interventions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with students from early childhood through high school.
- Knowledge of psychological testing and behavioral assessment techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload spanning multiple grade levels.
