Job Summary
The Industrial General Production operator is responsible for performing highly diversified duties and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.Opportunity for career growth – move up to lead and management positions!
DUTIES: Includes, but is not limited to, the following.

• Identify and pick recyclable metals and materials from incoming loads
• Sort and separate materials by type (e.g., aluminum, copper, steel)
• Assist with loading and unloading scrap materials from trucks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard
• Operate basic yard equipment such as forklifts, magnets, or hand tools
• Perform general labor tasks as needed, including sweeping, moving heavy items, and assisting other team members

Qualifications required:

• Production skills, hand tools, forklift required,
• Previous experience in a scrap yard, aluminum recycling facility, 2-3 years preferred
• Additionally, perform general facility duties that can include loading, unloading, and general clean-up
• Problem-solving and smart decision-making to keep production running efficiently.
• Operating Forklift equipment - 2-3 years’ experience and certification preferred
