This Certified Nuclear Technologist will serve as an independent contributor supporting medical private office by ensuring radiation safety and compliance. The role requires onsite presence 2-3 days a week and involves monitoring radiation levels, maintaining safety standards, and managing regulatory reporting to uphold quality assurance protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiation monitoring and ensure adherence to safety compliance
- Patient testing on a D-Spect camera
- Analyze data to support nuclear technology operations in medical settings
- Maintain quality assurance through systematic quality control checks
- Prepare technical documentation and regulatory reports accurately
- Respond effectively to emergency situations related to radiation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in nuclear technology
- Expertise in radiation safety and nuclear instrumentation
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance specific to nuclear technology
- Proficiency in data analysis and quality control procedures
- Excellent technical reporting, problem solving, and communication skills
