Occupational Therapist

Job Description

I’m partnering with a client in Bisbee, AZ to hire a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment services that help patients improve function, independence, and quality of life. This role includes assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and patient/caregiver education, with potential Home Health visits as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Perform skilled evaluations using impairment testing and translate findings into functional goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical findings, level of care, and length of stay
• Provide safe, effective OT services while following established policies and equipment procedures
• Apply knowledge of medical conditions and how they impact treatment
• Educate and involve patients and caregivers in the plan of care
• Use strong time management and flexibility to deliver optimal care
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, goals, and changes in patient condition/physician orders
• Support continuity of care through clear communication and collaboration
• Incorporate clinical trends and make recommendations to support cost-effective care delivery

What You Will Need

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Valid Arizona OT License (Arizona State Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Solid understanding of OT theory and best practices
• Knowledge of body mechanics and safe lifting techniques
• Basic computer proficiency
• CPR certification (preferred)
• Supervisory experience (a plus)
