Position Title: Marketing Coordinator
Pay Type: Salary
FLSA Designation: Exempt
Reports to: Creative Director
Location: Rochester, NY
Salary Range: $60, 000 - $90,000
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:
Supporting Flower City Group’s corporate marketing vision by effectively executing creative campaigns, elements, and day-to-day marketing activities as directed by the leadership team.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate the production of marketing materials and content including website content, email blasts, social media posts, client pitch decks, events, and promotional materials (internal/external).
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective execution of marketing projects.
- Assist in organizing marketing events, trade shows and promotional activities.
- Manage the company’s website and social media accounts to enhance brand visibility.
- Assist workflow development and compliance within marketing process, procedures, and brand guidelines.
- Manage the workflow, repository, process and executing digital images of prototypes, production/in-retail.
- Research and document new trends in retail, point-of-purchase display and signage.
- Participate in onboarding and training of existing and new personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Creative Director.
Competencies:
- Results-based marketing methodology.
- Application of best-practice marketing principles.
- Proficiency in applicable marketing software and tools.
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing best-practices.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Suite and creation of print ready art (a plus).
- Skills and experience with visual content creation.
- Basic digital photography skills and asset management.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Regularly required to sit, regular use of hands.
- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and use foot/feet to operate equipment.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee must be able to work under pressure with ever-changing deadlines and priorities and extend the workday, including weekends, when necessary.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited college/university, preferred concentration in Marketing.
- Up to 5 years of applicable relevant experience (internships included).
- Foundation in the principles and best practices of brand, digital and content marketing.
