Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Experience rural Colorado in a unique and fulfilling way as a travel RN specializing in Emergency Room care. During your assignment, you'll work in a Critical Access Hospital that offers the perfect blend of close-knit teamwork and exposure to multifaceted cases found in an attached ER hall featuring trauma and triage facilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid RN license (Compact or Colorado)
  • Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
  • Proficient in trauma assessment and critical care procedures
  • Strong documentation and patient care planning skills
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient physical and psychosocial conditions continuously
  • Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
  • Evaluate patient progress and revise plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Collect and integrate patient, family, lab, and medical information for comprehensive treatment
  • Execute therapeutic interventions as ordered by providers
  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation of care and clinical judgments
  • Demonstrate current knowledge of ER equipment, medications, and protocols
  • Communicate care plans and significant changes effectively to patients, families, and care teams
  • Support risk management and quality improvement initiatives
  • Educate patients, families, and staff; participate in ongoing training
  • Adhere to hospital policies and PPE requirements
