HR Description:

Supports the human resources department to ensure a smooth operation of all HR functions and overall employee experience.


The primary responsibility of the HR Administrator is to support the daily operations of the HR department by handling administrative tasks related to employee records, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance. This position interacts with all levels of the business.


HR Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR database and systems
  • Monitors new hire background investigations with 3rd party vendor and communicates results to stakeholders
  • Initiate new hire onboarding
  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Maintains digital personnel files and confidential HR documents
  • Conducts regular audits of HR data to ensure accurate and compliant information
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance HR services by streamlining processes and leveraging automation
  • Implements best practices for maintaining confidentiality and security of employee information
  • Assists in SOC activities related to HR controls
  • Provides reports to management
  • System testing during upgrades and new deployments
  • Supports all other HR functional teams as required
  • Ad hoc projects as requested


HR Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred)
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an HR department
  • Familiarity with HR software and databases (e.g., HRIS systems)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)


Hours and Pay:


  • $19-$20/hr
  • Monday-Friday
  • 1-2 days work from home
  • 8:00-4:30pm
  • Temp position (possibly permanent)
