Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide critical support and services within a K-12 school setting. Located in Fort Gratiot, MI, this onsite contract position offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, working primarily with an elementary caseload throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech and communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and integration
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience working in school settings with children across elementary to high school levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and colleagues effectively
- Ability to manage a caseload independently with attention to detail
