The Role
Crescendo is seeking a Sales Innovation Intern to help build, test, and optimize the AI-powered workflows that support our Go-To-Market organization.
This is not a traditional sales internship. There is no cold calling, data entry, or administrative work. Instead, you’ll operate as part of a GTM rotational program, spending 1-2 weeks embedded in core GTM functions to understand how AI, process, and messaging actually drive revenue.
You’ll use these rotations to design better AI prompts, experiments, and workflows that improve how sellers research accounts, engage buyers, handle objections, and position value.
GTM Rotations (1–2 Weeks Each)
You’ll rotate through the following GTM teams. In each rotation, you’ll focus on identifying high-impact opportunities where AI can improve speed, quality, and consistency.

- Prospect research and account insights
- Personalized outbound emails and LinkedIn messages
- Call preparation and objection handling
- Run A/B tests on AI-generated outbound messaging
- Analyze response rates, meeting conversion, and message quality
- Document what improves outbound effectiveness (and what doesn’t)
2. Revenue Enablement

- Build AI prompts to support:
- Content Creation

- Support AI-assisted workflows for:
- Event targeting and attendee research
- Personalized outreach before and after events
- Follow up messaging and recap content
- Analyze event engagement data (registrations, attendance, follow-ups)
- Identify how AI can improve efficiency and personalization in event-driven GTM motions
- Document best practices for scaling field marketing execution
4. Customer Success
- Observe how customers adopt and realize value post-sale
- Build AI prompts to support:
- Customer preparation and QBR summaries
- Renewal and expansion insights
- Common objections and risk signals
- Identify gaps between what is sold and what is delivered
- Surface insights that improve sales-to-CS handoffs and expectations
5. Revenue Operations (RevOps)
- Learn how data, systems, and processes support GTM execution
- Analyze funnel metrics and conversion trends
- Build AI prompts that help:
- Summarize pipeline and activity insights

6. Sales (Account Executives)
- Observe live deal cycles and sales conversations
- Build AI prompts for:
- Discovery preparation
- Competitive positioning
- Value framing and follow-up summaries
- Review Gong calls to understand how messaging lands with buyers
- Help identify patterns in successful vs. stalled deals
What You’ll Do (Across All Rotations)
Build Our AI Prompt Library
- Create and maintain a library of high-performing AI prompts across GTM workflows
- Document what works, what doesn’t, and why
- Continuously refine prompts based on feedback and performance
Run Controlled Experiments
- Design and execute A/B tests on AI-generated content
- Compare AI outputs against human-written baselines
- Track metrics such as response rates, meeting bookings, engagement quality, and adoption
- Present findings and recommendations to GTM leaders
Quality Assurance of AI Outputs

- Identify hallucinations, generic messaging, and off-brand outputs
- Build feedback loops to improve AI performance over time
Evaluate AI Tools

Document What Actually Works
- Create playbooks, guides, and best practices
- Ensure learnings are practical and usable
- Leave behind documentation that continues to add value after the internship
What We Expect From You:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related business and technology field.
- A strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and its application within a business environment; prior experience with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) is preferred.
