Position Overview
The Plant Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient production processes and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role is responsible for leading a team, optimizing operations, and implementing strategic plans to enhance productivity and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the manufacturing plant
- Lead and develop the operations team to ensure high performance and engagement
- Implement and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Analyze operational processes and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize manufacturing operations
- Collaborate with other departments such as quality assurance and supply chain to enhance efficiency
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost control and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in plant operations management or manufacturing leadership
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry best practices
- Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with budget management and cost reduction strategies
