The Green Nook, a growing wellness and movement studio in Escondido, CA, is expanding our dance program! We’re looking for passionate, creative, and experienced dance instructors to join our vibrant community.
We are currently hiring for:
Burlesque Instructor
Twerk Instructor
Bollywood Instructor
About the Position
This is a contractor position with competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to grow with our studio. For the right candidates, we are also open to negotiating an employee position.
As an instructor at The Green Nook, you’ll be empowered to bring your unique style and energy to our space, create memorable class experiences, and build a supportive community of dancers.
Responsibilities

Teach weekly classes in your specialty style

Develop engaging class plans and choreography suitable for various levels

Create a fun, welcoming, and professional environment for all students

Collaborate with studio staff to promote classes and special events

Encourage consistency, growth, and community within your classes
Requirements

Prior teaching experience (studio, workshops, or community classes)

Strong dance background in your specialty (Burlesque, Twerk, or Bollywood)

Ability to lead classes with confidence, creativity, and positivity

Punctual, reliable, and professional

Willingness to promote your classes on social media
