Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions has an Assembly Technician role open for our client in the Chalfont, PA area. This direct hire role allows you to expand your automotive/engineering/manufacturing career through supporting the engineering team in a fast-paced role! This fully on-site position requires proven experience in reading blueprints/schematics, preferably specialized in automotive, mechatronics or robotics. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in building automotive parts, sub-assemblies and use of hand tools such as torque and pressure gauges in electro-mechanical assembly. robotics, mechatronics, and mechanics.
Hourly range: $25.00 per hour, overtime will be available voluntarily.
630a- 3p Mon - Fri 40 hour minimum, benefits start day 1
RESPONSIBILITIES

Interpret and utilize mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics to determine approach to complete tasks.

Interpret and utilize mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics to determine layout of materials, equipment and end result required.

Make connections, electrical and mechanical, with fitting equipment.

Conduct inspection of assembly prior to inspection utilizing checklists and QA/QC guides.

Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and quality on any assembly issues that arise in a timely manner.

Execute operations in accordance with workflow and company policy and procedure.

Meet and exceed KPI’s set forth by leads and management.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Highly preferred - Mechanical Engineering degree, preferably specialized in mechatronics or robotics.

Candidates will have 1–3 years’ experience in automotive assembly, robotics, mechatronics, and/or mechanical assembly.

Eager to excel in a career within robotics and mechatronics.
-
Must be willing to obtain powered industrial trucks operator certification internally and retrain as needed.

Must be willing to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, power tools, etc.
-
PLC experience preferred.
-
Controls and automation experience preferred.
-
Hands-on experience with vehicles, motors, pumps, water pumps, etc. highly preferred.

Tools experience such as drills, taps and dies, sockets, torque equipment and pressure gauges in electro-mechanical assembly.

Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
-
Proven ability to read, interpret, and utilize blueprints and schematics.

Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
