Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Tacoma, WA. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, offering a caseload spanning all grade levels. The ideal candidate will provide speech and language services to students in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and individualized intervention plans for students K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success initiatives
Qualifications:
- Current Washington State SLP license with Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI in accordance with state requirements
- Strong background in school-based speech-language pathology, ideally with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience managing a K-12 caseload and familiarity with educational protocols and IEP processes
Location:
- Tacoma, WA area, with services provided on-site exclusively in the school district
