Join a dedicated team supporting the housekeeping department at a large hospital facility in Washington, DC. As a housekeeper, you will primarily provide cleaning support, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The position offers a 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift, and we have two openings available.
Responsibilities
- Clean hallways, bathrooms, offices, discharge rooms, and common areas.
- Change linens, dust, sanitize surfaces, sweep, and mop.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain open communication with hospital staff and visitors.
- Pull trash and perform other duties as needed to support the team.
- Adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as required.
Essential Skills
- 1+ years of housekeeping or janitorial experience.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Floor technician experience is preferred but not necessary.

Work Environment
The work schedule includes shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with off days every other weekend. The hospital environment can be fast-paced, with each room requiring cleaning within 30-45 minutes. Employees should be comfortable with the hospital setting, which may include various situations and smells. This role does not require a driver's license or specific certifications.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
