Job DescriptionTRC is looking for an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer in Duluth, Ga. Job Details:
- 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday- Friday
- Direct hire
- $60k+ based on experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize testing strategies and automated test systems for electronic boards, including functional, in-circuit, and system-level testing.
- Execute test plans and procedures to ensure all products meet defined technical specifications and quality standards.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve test failures, partnering with design and manufacturing teams to drive timely solutions.
- Analyze test data to identify trends, uncover root causes, and recommend process improvements using statistical and analytical tools.
- Create, maintain, and continuously refine clear and comprehensive test documentation, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
- Own the maintenance and calibration of test equipment, coordinating with vendors as needed to ensure reliable operation.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing test methods, equipment, and overall processes.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality policies.
- Train and support production staff on testing procedures, best practices, and quality expectations.
Job Qualifications:Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electronics testing, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and automated test equipment (ATE).
- Experience developing or scripting test software using tools such as LabVIEW and/or Python.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with PCB manufacturing processes and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Relevant certifications such as IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/21, or Six Sigma.
