Job SummaryThe Manufacturing Technician 2 at the Broadway site is responsible for executing day-to-day manufacturing operations in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This role involves equipment setup, product preparation, documentation, and adherence to safety and quality standards. All work is performed 100% on-site, and punctuality is a key requirement.
Key Responsibilities

  1. Set up and operate manufacturing equipment such as Filter Integrity testing systems, Watson Marlow pumps, Autoclaves, and High Throughput Bag Line.
  2. Execute production operations including hand filling, equipment preparation, and aseptic gowning/qualification.
  3. Deliver finished products to the warehouse using a motorized pallet jack.
  4. Clean equipment and production suites following operations.
  5. Ensure proper disposal of waste and complete associated compliance documentation.
  6. Communicate production or equipment issues and escalate deviations to supervisors.
  7. Complete and maintain accurate batch records, including data entry in SAP.
  8. Ensure all applicable logbooks are filled out in accordance with quality standards.
  9. Comply with safety protocols and production procedures at all times.
  10. Properly use, clean, and store personal protective equipment (PPE).
  11. Accurately label all in-process equipment and containers.
  12. Take corrective actions to address any unsafe conditions.
  13. Participate in safety and quality training initiatives.
  14. Support Manufacturing Technician 1 responsibilities as needed, including documenting and communicating process and equipment status.
  15. Perform in-process assays and handle technically complex dispensing and packaging tasks.

Required Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Must be timely, punctual, and dependable.
  3. Must be able to work 100% on-site.
  4. Ability to follow documented procedures and complete accurate records.
  5. Must wear steel-toed shoes while on-site.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Some college or Associate’s degree preferred.
  2. 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
  3. Experience with aseptic techniques.
  4. Familiarity with pipetting and Osmometer use.
  5. Working knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing environment.
  6. Understanding of chemistry, mathematics, and general science.
  7. Experience with safe chemical handling methods.
  8. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Strong mechanical aptitude, computer proficiency, and organizational skills.
