Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in San Rafael, CA, for professionals with expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology (AT) supporting students with extensive special needs. This role involves working across two different school sites, serving students from Kindergarten through Middle School in three classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized speech-language services utilizing AAC/AT for students with significant communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop individualized support plans.
  • Work across two school sites, ensuring consistent and effective service delivery.
  • Manage compensatory time at the start of the school year with an eventual transition to a 2.5-day per week schedule.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Demonstrated experience in AAC and AT with school-aged children.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse educational settings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
