We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our customer service department in the packaging industry. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving team performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and aligning service operations with production and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and mentor the Customer Service team to meet performance goals and foster a culture of excellent customer service.
- Oversee order processing and coordinate with Sales, Production, and Logistics to ensure on-time, accurate delivery.
- Act as the voice of the customer, resolving escalated issues and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Implement process improvements to streamline communication and operations to reduce errors.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), on-time delivery, quality, and order accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other managers to support strategic business goals and customer experience initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of management experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven leadership in customer service, inside sales, or account management.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and data analysis tools.
- Experience in the packaging industry is a strong plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Advanced technical proficiency with ERP platforms (e.g., Amtech).
- Strategic thinking and ability to contribute to long-term customer experience improvements.
- High emotional intelligence and a positive, reliable leadership style.
