DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators) is a non-profit organization that administers benefits for companies who are owned or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Our Central Services Department is hiring a full-time, Document Imaging Specialist for a two-year contingent role due to significant software changes underway at DMBA. As these systems evolve, the need for this position may not extend beyond the two-year period. This role requires on-site attendance every day and is not eligible for remote work. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, eight hours per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, batch, and scan incoming mail and other transactional documents received via email or fax.
- Index and route digital documents accurately into established workflows.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Utah driver license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
- Ability to work for extended periods while seated or standing.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Consistent punctuality and reliability.
- Adherence to defined scheduling requirements.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with sustained focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with scanning equipment and imaging software.
- Knowledge of HIPAA requirements related to PHI.
- Experience working with medical, dental, or financial documents.

- Prepare and batch documents to ensure accurate scanning.
- Maintain a high level of detail orientation.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and route document types correctly.
- Enter predefined data elements to ensure documents enter the correct workflow.
