Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
- Previous clinical supervision experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and mentorship abilities
- Collaborative spirit and commitment to student achievement
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, onsite supervision of an SLPA for 2 hours each week
- Observe and support the SLPA in their daily interactions and service delivery with students
- Offer constructive feedback, guidance, and coaching to foster skill development
- Ensure all activities provided by the SLPA meet ethical, legal, and professional standards
- Collaborate with school staff and administrators to facilitate effective communication and service integration
- Document supervisory encounters and maintain relevant records in accordance with state and professional guidelines
