Qualifications and Experience:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
Previous clinical supervision experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and mentorship abilities
Collaborative spirit and commitment to student achievement

Role Responsibilities:

Provide direct, onsite supervision of an SLPA for 2 hours each week
Observe and support the SLPA in their daily interactions and service delivery with students
Offer constructive feedback, guidance, and coaching to foster skill development
Ensure all activities provided by the SLPA meet ethical, legal, and professional standards
Collaborate with school staff and administrators to facilitate effective communication and service integration
Document supervisory encounters and maintain relevant records in accordance with state and professional guidelines
