Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for a contract position spanning a full semester, beginning ASAP and concluding on June 9, 2026. This role offers the chance to work approximately 35 hours per week, primarily onsite with a split schedule across two elementary school sites, located in New Britain, CT.

Responsibilities include delivering speech-language services within inclusive classroom settings, supporting students with a range of disability categories, though no specialized classrooms are involved. The role demands effective collaboration with educational staff to provide individualized interventions and contribute to student success.

Preferred qualifications and requirements:

  • Valid Connecticut professional license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CF)
  • School-based experience is essential
  • Completion of district fingerprints and background checks
  • Ability to participate in a Zoom interview process
  • Experience working with a diverse population of elementary-aged students
  • Candidates with prior licenses and documentation prepared for onboarding are preferred

Work schedule and assignment details:

  • Hours: 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Two openings available
  • Assignments split between two elementary schools; specific sites to be determined
