Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Neptune, NJ 07754
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekends Required
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services in a hospital setting. This role involves delivering therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory services while working closely with physicians and healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services under medical direction for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
- Assist with intubation procedures and manage ventilator setup and monitoring
- Evaluate patient needs through assessment, testing, and collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory conditions, treatments, and equipment usage
- Document all treatments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
- Build strong relationships with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and organizational standards
- Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and infection control
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Certifications & Licensure
- BLS (AHA) required
- ACLS required
- PALS required
- Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care License
- Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
