Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) is needed to provide coverage for overlapping maternity leaves at an elementary school in Irvine, CA. This contract position offers an opportunity to support a specialized caseload consisting of one preschool and one elementary autism program, beginning August 11th and continuing through early October, with the possibility of extension to be determined.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services within the school setting, focusing on students in preschool and elementary autism programs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and monitor progress
• Provide hands-on therapy and support onsite, adhering strictly to school policies and protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and ply with state and federal regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in school-based settings
• Proven skills in home health, healthcare, and school environments highly valued
• Experience working with autism and related developmental disorders in pediatric populations
• Ability to work onsite full-time; virtual or VOCO services are not permitted
• Strong munication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with multidisciplinary teams
