- This is a full-time role with a shared call rotation and a strong referral base of loyal patients in a close-knit community setting.

Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Functions independently and in collaboration with the OB/GYN physician in the delivery of obstetrics and gynecological care.
- Delivers full-scope midwifery care across the continuum, including prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, postpartum follow-up, and gynecological exams.
- Educates patients and families about reproductive health, pregnancy, birth options, and newborn care.
- Supports low-intervention, natural childbirth practices while recognizing when higher-level care is needed.
- Utilizes leadership and professional development skills to assure quality patient care and medical practice.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Must possess strong communication, clinical judgment, organizational, and leadership skills; have the ability to analyze, plan, and coordinate medical care while making appropriate medical decisions.
- This position requires a high level of personal accountability and professionalism. The successful candidate promotes a culture of teamwork, respectful communication, organizational commitment, and strong work habits.
- Consistent attendance, reliability, job knowledge, and professional appearance are essential.
- The ability to adapt to change, handle conflict constructively, and contribute to a collaborative and patient-centered work environment is expected.
Physical Requirements
- Requires full range of motion, frequent standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time.
- Requires visual and hearing acuity.
- Should be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Involves exposure to communicable diseases, medical preparations, toxic substances, and other conditions common to clinical environments.
Education/Certifications
- Current Ohio license to practice medicine as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
- BLS certification, NRP, and ACLS required.
Experience
- Previous midwifery experience preferred.
- Highly motivated new graduates will be considered.
