Job Description
The primary function of the Production Supervisor is to oversee and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Recommend measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- Review operations and collaborate with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing issues.
- Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems to identify production problems.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, as well as resolve personal grievances.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
Essential Skills
- Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing efficient manufacturing and distribution.
- Familiarity with machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
- Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing supervision role.
- Experience with production management, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and process improvement.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Parma, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
