Acting as a digital outsourced regulatory department and working with clients to support them in establishing a high-performing internal regulatory function. As a Working Aerospace or UTM/ATM student, you will play an essential role in supporting our expert team by assisting with technical research, documentation, and project coordination for UAS/AAM operations and UTM/U-space integration. Please note: This position requires 25 working hours per week with on-site presence at our Madrid office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Concept Support:
- Assist in developing and reviewing Concepts of Operations (ConOps) for UAS operations and airspace integration.
- Support documentation of operational scenarios under the guidance of senior consultants.
2. UTM and ATM Research:
- Conduct structured research into UTM/ATM systems, standards, and technologies.
- Summarise technical information and present insights to internal teams.
3. Validation & Testing Preparation:
- Help prepare for simulations, validation trials, and live demonstrations.
- Support logistics, scenarios and test cases setup, and data collection efforts.
4. Technical Documentation Assistance:
- Draft, format, and maintain technical documents such as briefing decks, ConOps drafts, and technical system descriptions.
- Ensure clarity, structure, and branding consistency.
5. Team & Project Coordination:
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to task tracking and project planning.
- Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders when required.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of UTM/ATM systems and unmanned aviation operations.
- Advanced communication and writing skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (especially PowerPoint and Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and structured working style.
- Ability to work independently, ask questions, and follow through on assignments.
- Availability for 1520 hours per week during the semester (flexible schedule).
