Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using x-ray equipment in a professional healthcare setting. This contract opportunity is based in Angels Camp, CA, offering the chance to contribute to patient care by producing accurate radiographs that assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate x-ray equipment to capture high-quality radiographs of specified body parts as ordered by physicians.
  • Position and instruct patients to ensure correct imaging angles and patient comfort.
  • Adjust x-ray machine settings including voltage, current, and exposure time to obtain optimal images.
  • Maintain equipment safety and cleanliness according to regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members for efficient workflow and patient care.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Certification or degree as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Proven experience operating x-ray equipment and producing diagnostic radiographs.
  • Knowledge of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff.
  • Compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.
