Seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using x-ray equipment in a professional healthcare setting. Responsibilities:
- Operate x-ray equipment to capture high-quality radiographs of specified body parts as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients to ensure correct imaging angles and patient comfort.
- Adjust x-ray machine settings including voltage, current, and exposure time to obtain optimal images.
- Maintain equipment safety and cleanliness according to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for efficient workflow and patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certification or degree as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Proven experience operating x-ray equipment and producing diagnostic radiographs.
- Knowledge of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff.
- Compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.
