Job DescriptionEV Auto TechnicianPay: $22.65/hrHours: Day 4:00 PM – 2:30 PMWeekend: Monday-ThursdayTulsa
Experience and RequirementsPerform safe, quality bus repair work. Provide feedback to Group Leader, Team Leader or BTL on all assembly discrepancies found on the product and report to the appropriate personnel.
• Capable of following a set inspection check list verifying quality products.• Capable of repairing all bus quality defects identified as outlined on the vehicle inspection checklist or FMVSS.• Able to cross-train other team members in the repair process and procedures;• Provide mobile repair assistances as needed on all units. Daily application of mechanical aptitude and skills as well as practical problem-solving tools to diagnose and resolve production related problems;• Collect data and report out on repairs made and assist with providing corrective assembly or engineering product actions;• Personal Safety and vehicle quality at the forefront of any repairs;• Able to identify, diagnose and repair any vehicle mechanical or electrical issues;• Excellent problem solving and follow up skills;• Automotive knowledge (Body, fab, electrical, and Chassis desired)• Ability to work overtime, flex schedule, often on short notice.• Able to comprehend engineering documents (Prints, FEMA, etc.)• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.• Able to stand up to 50% of 10-hour workday.• Depth perception required.• Climbing using both legs and arms;• Moderate lifting and carrying;• Positive attitude, ethics and International’s values which support our Company’s values and a healthy, high performance culture;• Strong Communication skills both written and oral;• Self-Motivated with ability to work under pressure;• Self-starter and results driven with a sense of urgency;• Strong Mechanical and/or electrical repair background on busses / trucks and engine repair.
Education / Certifications• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)• At least 1 year of automotive assembly or repair experience
