An established hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a night shift opportunity based in the Overland Park area. This contract position offers the chance to work with advanced imaging technology in a busy, hospital-based setting focusing on MRI imaging with a specialization in implanted device scanning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans using Phillips Achieva and Siemens 1.5T Sola equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
- Operate Cerner, Unity PACS, and Inteview PACS software systems efficiently
- Provide coverage floating between sites as needed, including Bell and Cambridge locations
- Participate in a rotating weekend schedule, maintaining exceptional service standards during nights
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of hospital-based MRI experience required, with an emphasis on scanning implanted devices
- Prior travel healthcare experience of at least 1 year is necessary
- ARRT (MR) certification and current BLS certification mandatory
- Strong proficiency with Phillips Achieva scanners preferred
Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, working three varied shifts per week
- Weekend rotation required, with optional on-call opportunities for additional coverage
