TechConnect is seeking a Civil Engineer for an industry leading organization that is located in Tulsa, OK. Our client needs a professional Civil Engineer with a proven track record in one of the specific areas listed below:
- Leading Engineering efforts from beginning to end for residential design (subdivision, multi-family complexes), connecting utilities, building out entire sites, building roads, etc.
- Leading Engineering efforts for renewable natural gas facilities, landfills, water/waste sanitation and disposal, water towers, pump stations, etc.
- Leading Engineering efforts for healthcare and school system facilities, retail, and general engineering projects.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with current customers, effectively run and manage projects, manage others as needed, and provide practical and timely engineering solutions for our clients customers.
To be successful in this role you need excellent oral/written communication skills, a strong understanding of projects and profitability so that you can work effectively with leadership and customers. You must be willing to accept increasing levels of responsibility, and continue technical and leadership training. You need problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and evaluate activities, and drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Master's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering or relevant experience. Individuals with 6-10 years of civil design experience highly preferred.
- PE license in Oklahoma or eligibility for licensure by committee.
- Must be able to work with a variety of customers, understand scheduling, managing project timelines, setting proper internal and customer expectations, budgeting, and meet projected timelines.
- Strong understanding and knowledge in U.S. and local design codes and standards.
- Must be technically proficient in engineering systems, materials and procedures.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience working with Water CAD and Sewer CAD for the renewable natural gas / water/waste position.
- Bluebeam software and HMS modeling software experience is a plus.
