Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage conference room and vehicle reservations to support staff scheduling needs.
• Oversee the supply closet, ensuring inventory is organized and adequately stocked.
• Welcome and assist visitors through the intercom system, providing a positive first impression.
• Create and distribute monthly announcements to keep employees informed of updates.
• Prepare and issue employee badges while maintaining accurate records.
• Operate a multi-line phone system to handle incoming calls efficiently.
• Address inbound calls professionally and direct them to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain a detail-oriented demeanor while performing receptionist duties, including front desk management.• Proven experience in receptionist or administrative roles within a setting requiring attention to detail.
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards with up to 10 lines.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and scheduling.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with creating announcements and handling administrative documentation.
• Ability to assist visitors and callers with professionalism and courtesy.
• Experience issuing identification badges or similar credentials.
• Availability for part-time hours as required.
