This travel pharmacist opportunity in the Honolulu area offers a dynamic role supporting clinical hospital pharmacy services. With a 16-week assignment starting ASAP, you will rotate between day and evening shifts, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care within a medical team environment.
Location: Ewa Beach, HI (serving Honolulu and surrounding areas)

Schedule:
- Day shifts: 5 shifts/week, 8 hours per shift (06:30-15:00 or 08:30-17:00)
- Evening shifts: 4 shifts/week, 10 hours per shift (11:00-21:30 or 12:30-23:00)
- 40 hours guaranteed per week
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with medical teams during patient rounds to optimize drug therapy
- Monitor and adjust pharmacokinetic dosing and provide detailed patient counseling
- Manage unit dose and intravenous services to ensure safe medication distribution
- Support clinical decision-making and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a clinical hospital pharmacist
- Demonstrated experience rounding with medical teams and patient drug therapy monitoring
- Proficiency in pharmacokinetic dosing and patient education
- Experience in unit dose and IV services preferred
- Current Hawaii State Registered Pharmacist license required
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree preferred
- Post-graduate ASHP-accredited clinical residency is a plus
