Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-8 school setting located in Lakeville, MN. This contract role offers flexible working hours, approximately 20 hours per week, providing speech services to a caseload of about 20 students. The position welcomes candidates at all experience levels, including those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-8.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in meetings and consultations as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; candidates in CFY will be considered.
- Experience or interest in providing services in school and pediatric settings.
- Familiarity with teletherapy is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexibly within the agreed part-time schedule.
- Proficiency as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in school or healthcare settings may be advantageous.
