What Our Client Needs:

A Senior Program Manager to join the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO). This role is responsible for end-to-end program delivery and portfolio oversight that supports key business and functional initiatives across the organization. The Senior Program Manager will contribute to GS1 US’s ongoing improvement of program management processes, drive accountability across teams, and ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of strategic and operational projects.

You bring a team mentality and strong interpersonal skills, along with proven experience in tracking metrics, resolving project challenges, and continuously improving delivery methodologies. A PMP certification and familiarity with GS1 US’s industry or business environment are desirable.

What You’ll Do:

  • Driving continuous improvement in project delivery processes
  • Building strong internal relationships and managing communication across all levels
  • Participating in strategic planning, sprint reviews, and broader Agile or portfolio ceremonies
  • Contributing to the maturity and scalability of the EPMO’s methodologies and tools

This position requires up to 5% travel and has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • 10+ years of experience managing large cross-functional projects or programs
  • Demonstrated success leading initiatives on time and within budget
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and risk mitigation skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity
  • Experience influencing without authority in a matrixed environment
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
