Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This per diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity supports a behavioral health environment in Littleton, CO. This role involves working on-site, handling medication distribution with a focus on hospital inpatient pharmacy operations. It is ideal for a pharmacy technician with foundational knowledge of brand and generic medications, looking to contribute in a specialized clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in medication order entry with training provided
- Operate site automation systems such as OmniCell, with training available
- Support inpatient pharmacy dispensing in a behavioral health setting
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and distribution of medications
- Maintain compliance with applicable safety, legal, and regulatory standards
Schedule:
- November 24 and 25, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- One additional week in December, dates to be determined
- Open availability desired for additional coverage in 2026
Qualifications:
- Current Colorado pharmacy technician license
- National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT)
- Previous pharmacy technician experience required
- Familiarity with OmniCell automation systems is a plus
- Knowledge of brand and generic medications essential
- Local candidates only due to on-site requirements
