Dr. Khan, a board-certified medical doctor, specializes in identifying root causes of complex, chronic health conditions not resolved through conventional medicine. Utilizing advanced functional medicine techniques and personalized care, the practice focuses on addressing thyroid disorders, autoimmune diseases, GI issues, and more. With a comprehensive approach that includes lifestyle assessments, cutting-edge lab testing, and individualized plans, the practice aims to optimize overall patient health and well-being through evidence-based and innovative treatments.
Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team at our on-site location in Shenandoah, TX. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, taking medical histories, assisting during patient examinations, handling medical records, and performing administrative tasks in a medical office. The ideal candidate will work closely with both patients and medical staff to ensure a high standard of care and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Patient Care
- Familiarity with Medical Terminology and Medical Records management
- Experience in front and back-office tasks within a Medical Office setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting is preferred
- Prior experience in functional or integrative medicine is a plus
