Job Details:
\n
• Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
\n• Required to work 6-9 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule
\n• Must float within Zone 3 which includes multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius
\n• Float to various ICU units including MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU and may also float to PCU/Stepdown and MS-Tele units
\n• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1-2 dependent on acuity, may flex up to 1:3
\n• 1:1 ratio for high acuity patients requiring CRRT, IABP, Impella, etc.
\n• Must have 2 years of ICU experience minimum (3+ years if first-time traveler)
\n• Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin
\n• Required to read and interpret own telemetry strips
\n• Must assist with respiratory equipment troubleshooting and management
\n• Work with Epic charting system
\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
\n• Any color scrubs permitted
\n• 1-2 days unit orientation with preceptor
\n• May be placed in holiday rotation
\n• Rare call/standby requirements for low census
\n• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
\n• Must submit time off requests prior to starting assignment
\n• Must maintain valid driver's license and housing within feasible distance for 60-mile float zone
