About the Role:SOLID Personnel is seeking an entry-level General Laborer to support piping and plumbing operations inside a fabrication shop environment. This is a hands-on role assisting experienced pipefitters and plumbers with daily production and material prep.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Assist with fabrication, assembly, and preparation of piping materials
- Support pipefitters with cutting, measuring, and staging pipe
- Assist with threading, grooving, and assembling piping systems
- Gather and stage materials for daily work
- Utilize basic hand tools and assist with shop equipment as directed
- Follow all safety protocols and supervisor direction
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Required Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to the jobsite on time daily
- Valid driver’s license if required for the role
- Full PPE including hard hat, safety vest, steel toe boots, gloves, and safety glasses
- Basic hand tools as required
- Ability to pass Drug Screen, E-Verify, and 7-Year Background Check
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts and physically demanding conditions
- Ability to follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA 10 preferred
