Located in Springfield, MA, this full-time contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized support to a middle school student within a structured educational program. The role involves working closely with the student to facilitate both academic progress and personal care needs, ensuring their safety and engagement throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to a middle school student, including toileting assistance such as dressing/undressing, diaper changing, and wiping
• Assist with student participation and engagement in classroom activities
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for the student throughout the school day
• Collaborate with educational staff to meet individualized student needs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Plus one of the following:
  • Associates degree
  • Minimum of 48 college credits
  • Passing score on ParaPro or WorkKeys assessment
• Previous school-based paraprofessional experience (required)
• Comfort and experience handling personal care responsibilities
• Ability to interview via Microsoft Teams (interview duration: 1530 minutes)
• Reliable transportation is preferred

Schedule & Duration:

• Full-time, 35 to 37.5 hours per week
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Contract end date: June 25, 2026
