Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide essential speech therapy services within a K-5 educational setting, covering two schools in Sauk Rapids, MN. This contract position spans the school year and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, supporting students across early childhood and elementary grades. Future openings are anticipated to expand services K-12, including PreK through high school levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students with communication disorders in a K-5 school environment
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain compliance with educational and clinical standards
- Manage caseload efficiently across two separate school sites
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide communication initiatives
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience or coursework in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or completed
- Familiarity with school-based therapy protocols and educational regulations
- Ability to work effectively with children from diverse backgrounds
