Job Description
Join our dynamic Assembly Department as an Operator 1 in Manufacturing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in operating processing and packaging equipment, ensuring that every batch produced is of the highest quality and meets all specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging equipment.
- Weigh, measure, and check raw materials with the assistance of a computer interface to ensure batches contain the correct materials and quantities.
- Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Perform in-process sampling and testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
- Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.
- Follow all safe practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Complete and maintain Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and SOPs.
- Maintain equipment and lab room to ensure proper operating conditions and cleanliness.
- May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Essential Skills
- Experience in assembly, packaging, and manufacturing.
- Ability to operate processing and packaging equipment.
- Strong attention to detail for weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials.
- Proficiency in performing in-process sampling and testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with computer interfaces for batch production.
- Experience with semi-automated and automated equipment.
- Ability to maintain quality records in compliance with GMPs.

Work Environment

The position typically receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments, encountering recurring work situations with moderate complexity.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
