Job Title: Staff Accountant (Contract)
Location (City, State): Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Pay: $26–$29 per hour

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support daily financial operations. This individual will work closely with the Accounting Manager and CFO in a collaborative, fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working hands-on with transactional accounting while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including high-volume transactional entries
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate cash records
- Assist with vendor setup and onboarding documentation
- Review and code credit card and other financial transactions
- Support month-end close activities and general ledger maintenance
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners regarding financial matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with AP, AR, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Experience working within an ERP system (required)
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Comfortable working in an onsite environment
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Fully onsite role in Charlotte, NC
