Job Title: Nurse Supervisor – Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Department: Emergency Room – Adult (Behavioral Health)
Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead clinical operations within the Behavioral Health Emergency Department. This role is responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support nursing staff within the Adult Emergency Room Behavioral Health unit

Ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care delivery

Coordinate daily staffing, assignments, and workflow

Monitor compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements

Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff

Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and leadership

Address and resolve clinical and operational issues in real time

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (single-state license only; compact licenses not accepted)

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Required Experience
-
Minimum of seven (7) years of nursing experience

At least five (5) years in a supervisory or leadership role

Behavioral Health experience required

Emergency Room (Adult) experience strongly preferred
