We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this part-time role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent to support organizational growth. This position requires a proactive and strategic approach to recruitment while maintaining compliance with employment laws and company policies.


Responsibilities:

• Source candidates with relevant experience through diverse channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and networking events that emphasize attention to detail.

• Develop and post accurate and engaging job advertisements that align with the organization's branding.

• Foster clear and consistent communication with applicants to ensure a seamless and positive recruitment experience.

• Coordinate onboarding activities to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires into the organization.

• Ensure all hiring practices adhere to employment regulations and internal policies.

• Achieve monthly hiring goals by effectively managing recruitment timelines and priorities.

• Maintain organized candidate pipelines to optimize hiring processes and outcomes.

• Actively mentor new employees during onboarding to support their integration into the company culture and operations.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or full-cycle recruiting.
• Proven expertise in sourcing candidates through various channels, including social media and job boards.
• Strong knowledge of corporate recruiting strategies and techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple candidate pipelines effectively.
• Familiarity with employment laws and recruitment best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to meet hiring targets and deliver results.
• Experience in mentoring and supporting new employees during onboarding processes.
