Location: Fullerton, CA (On-site)
Pay: $23-$25/hour
Job Type: Contract (2-3 months)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a fast-paced food manufacturing company in Fullerton. This role will focus on high-quality invoice processing, vendor communication, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review up to 200 invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
  • Perform three-way matching between invoices, purchase orders, and receiving records
  • Code invoices and prepare weekly check runs
  • Maintain and manage purchase orders, resolving discrepancies as needed
  • Communicate directly with vendors to address questions, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships
  • Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payments
  • Partner closely with two AP team members and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth workflow
  • Assist with process improvements and other accounting-related tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Strong understanding of invoice processing, purchase orders, and three-way matching
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred (Deacom experience a plus, but not required)

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, full-time hours
  • On-site in Fullerton, CA

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
