Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a fast-paced food manufacturing company in Fullerton. This role will focus on high-quality invoice processing, vendor communication, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review up to 200 invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
- Perform three-way matching between invoices, purchase orders, and receiving records
- Code invoices and prepare weekly check runs
- Maintain and manage purchase orders, resolving discrepancies as needed
- Communicate directly with vendors to address questions, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships
- Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payments
- Partner closely with two AP team members and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Assist with process improvements and other accounting-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, purchase orders, and three-way matching
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with ERP systems preferred (Deacom experience a plus, but not required)
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, full-time hours
- On-site in Fullerton, CA
