Job Title: Plate Roller
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Plate Roller to set up and operate a plate roller on a roll forming line. The role involves forming longitudinal bends, rolls, and profiles, setting up and adjusting digital dies, and operating machines to roll shell plates to required degrees. The candidate will check angles with a cutout to ensure specifications are met and operate secondary equipment associated with the roll forming process, including handling materials with overhead cranes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a plate roller on the roll forming line.
- Adjust digital dies and operate machines to roll shell plates to specified degrees.
- Check angles with cutouts to ensure bending specifications are met.
- Operate secondary equipment associated with the roll forming process.
- Handle materials using overhead cranes.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years experience operating a roll machine.
- Experience rolling steel plate or angle iron.
- Knowledge of roll form tooling and maintenance.
- Proficiency with various hand tools, including angle grinders, drills, and polishers.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with fabrication machines such as press brakes, burn tables, band saws, iron workers, punches, spear burners, shears, pipe profilers, plate rollers, and angle rollers.
- Experience running Adobe roller machines.
- Experience with horizontal or vertical roll forming machines.

Work Environment
The position starts on a day shift, working Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Saturdays as needed. After 10 months, expect rotation to a night shift from 4:15 p.m. to 2:45 a.m., which includes a shift differential. This is a long-term position requiring flexibility to work 40-70 plus hours per week, depending on the workload. The work takes place in a fabrication area and rig-up yard, which is non-climate controlled and lacks air conditioning.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
