Locations: Brooklyn
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Flexible start times (8–4, 9–5, or 10–6)
Type: Full-Time | Contract with opportunity to become permanent
We are seeking a compassionate and clinically strong Registered Nurse (RN) to support adults with developmental and physical disabilities in community-based group home and residential care settings. This role is ideal for nurses with relevant community-based experience who are looking for meaningful, relationship-focused work—without nights or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Perform ongoing health assessments and monitor resident conditions

Administer medications and treatments; ensure accurate and timely documentation

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to develop and update care plans

Provide health education and training to direct care staff

Respond to medical concerns and emergencies in accordance with protocols

Ensure compliance with nursing, residential care, and regulatory standards
Must-Have Qualifications

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
-
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience

Experience in group home, residential care, home care, long-term care, or community health
-
Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills

Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Compassionate, dependable, and resident-centered approach to care
Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience supporting individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities

Experience with medication administration and staff education in non-hospital settings

Comfort working across multiple residential sites within a borough
