This position supports a variety of commercial construction projects and works closely with superintendents and other trades to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial construction projects
- Assist with layout, framing, and trim carpentry
- Install doors, frames, hardware, millwork, and specialty items as needed
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Assist other trades and perform general labor duties as required
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Previous commercial carpentry or construction experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and methods
- Ability to read tape measures and understand basic construction drawings
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather and jobsite conditions
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
- OSHA 10 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
